SIWE Spring 2024 concert announced!
The Southern Indiana Wind Ensemble is pleased to announce its upcoming Fall concert, May 1, 2024 at Bloomington High School South.
Our mission
The Southern Indiana Wind Ensemble (SIWE) is a community-based ensemble made up of musicians from all walks of life. Our concert programs include a variety of challenging wind band pieces with a focus on both traditional favorites and recent additions to the repertoire.
As an ensemble, SIWE aims to:
- sustain a high-quality performance outlet for its members
- encourage a lifelong pursuit of opportunities for musical performance
- connect with young musicians through side-by-side concerts and educational outreach
- engage with a diverse audience
- enhance the greater artistic community
Repertoire
SIWE performs traditional repertoire in addition to modern literature for wind ensemble.
